Theme: The Sexy Summer Show
It’s summer in New York City, and that means things are getting a whole lot stickier and and whole lot sexier. Our annual sexy summer show celebrates feeling good, at all ages. Buckle up for silly stories, sassy stories, and yes, sexy stories at our July show at the iconic Joe’s Pub. You can expect our usual blend of warmth and wit in a feel-good show that’ll inspire you to stay sexy at every age
Team 20s: Gauri Awasthi is an Indian poet. An MFA graduate from McNeese State University, she has won scholarships from the Sundress Academy For The Arts, Louisiana Office of Cultural Development, Bread Loaf Writers' Workshop, Community of Writers and Kundiman.
Team 30s: Alex Hudgens is an Emmy-nominated journalist/producer, recognized for work on NBC’s Access Hollywood. Pivoting from TV, she founded HybridHouse Productions for speaking, coaching, and consulting. Alex is Director of Communications for Copper Books, the social app for book lovers. She moved to NYC in 2020 with now-fiancé, Joe, and pug, Busy.
Team 40s: Piera Gelardi is a creative director, entrepreneur, and storyteller passionate about bringing out the creativity in everyone, championing women and girls, and working to create a more playful, compassionate world. She is best known for being a co-founder of Refinery29.
Team 50s: Terry Wolfisch Cole is the founder and host of Tell Me Another, a live storytelling show in the Hartford area. She is a Moth GrandSLAM champion featured on the Moth Radio Hour. Terry regularly performs, teaches storytelling workshops and offers one-on-one coaching.
Team 60s: Pam Sherman is an actor, writer, leadership consultant, and recovering lawyer. She works with leaders globally about how to present with passion. Pam’s column, The Suburban Outlaw, was published on the USA Today Network for 15 years.
Team 80s: Hattie Wiener is an 86 year-old parent, grandparent, dance teacher, costume designer, movement therapist, model, writer, speaker, licensed sexologist and self-proclaimed cougar. She is internationally recognized for inspiring women and challenging the norms around aging and sexuality.
