Six storytellers.
Six generations.

Generation Women® is a multigenerational storytelling series featuring six women or non-binary storytellers — one in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+ — each sharing an original true story on a theme. Our diverse line-ups will make you laugh, cry, and reflect on the cycle of life.

Founded in New York City in 2017 by Georgia Clark, Generation Women exists to amplify underheard voices and create space for intergenerational connection and community. All are welcome to join us.

Tuesday, August 11 at

7pmET at Joe’s Pub, NYC.

Theme: Heat

Join us this August as we crank up the heat — and celebrate desire, daring, and the glorious, sweaty, unbuttoned side of being alive.

Our multigenerational storytellers take the Joe's Pub stage to share true tales of HEAT: the summer fling that rewrote the rules; the late-in-life awakening nobody saw coming; the night she finally stopped apologizing for what she wanted; the seduction that didn't go to plan; or the moment she discovered her own body was the best company in the room. Funny, frank, and gloriously alive, our wise and witty storytellers — from their twenties to their seventies and beyond — will remind us that wanting is human, pleasure is ageless, and life is far too short to keep your cool.

Don't miss New York's best storytelling night, presenting true stories told by women and non-binary performers across the generations, all turning up the heat on desire, joy, and the unapologetic pursuit of what sets us alight.
