Milestones: Stories of Big Moments and Breakthroughs
It’s our four-year anniversary! To celebrate this milestone, this month we invited our super-star line-up to share their life-changing milestones with us.
Team 20s: Gara Lonning (they/them) is a stand-up comedian, writer and performer based in NYC. Gara moved from Iowa in 2015 to pursue comedy and has been performing all over the city ever since. They're most well-known for their podcasts "We're Having Gay Sex", "EN(BA)BY: A Podcast About Gender” and weekly newsletter of the same name.
Team 30s: Erika Stallings is a music industry attorney, health advocate and writer. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, NPR, and O Magazine. She is also a frequent speaker on issues relating to intellectual property law, women’s health and the experience of black women in the workplace.
Team 40s: Vicky Kuperman has performed nationwide for over a decade and was named one of Huffington Post’s new comedians to watch. Her comedy albums Love's a Joke, When I Could Feel, All Good! and Three's Comedy are in regular rotation on SiriusXM, and her book How to Spy on Your Neighbor was top 10 in political-humor on Amazon.
Team 50s: Born and raised in Chicago, Diana Mucci is an Afro-Latina author, playwright, educator, speaker, producer and IT executive. Her writing is inspired by her ethnic family who encouraged her to share stories out loud that could draw laughter from a crowd. Diana has written, published and/or produced plays, short stories, children's books and indie films.
Team 60s: Jude Treder-Wolff is host and creator of (mostly) TRUE THINGS, a game wrapped in a storytelling show that features true stories – with a twist. She’s been featured on the RISK! live show and podcast, PBS Stories From The Stage, Story District in Washington and many more. Her solo shows This Isn’t Helping and Crazytown have been performed nationally.
Team 70s: Jill Dalton’s plays Collateral Damage and Whistle-blower were semi-finalists in the Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference. Her award-winning solo play Lizzie Borden Live! toured nationally. As an actor, Jill performed on and off Broadway and in Wall Street, Law & Order, Saturday Night Live, Rachael Getting Married, and many more.
Hosted/founded by Georgia Clark, author of the new rom-com It Had To Be You, and more.
