Team 20s: Bianca Mendez is a writer and editor living in NYC. Writing mostly in the women's lifestyle space, her work is featured in Cosmopolitan, Refinery29, Women's Health, and more. Her writing mostly focuses on dating, career, and whatever her friends are talking about.
Team 30s: Sarah M. Sala is a poet, educator, and native Michigander. She is the author of Devil’s Lake, which was a finalist for a Lambda Literary Award in Lesbian Poetry, the Publishing Triangle Audre Lorde Poetry Award, and the Eric Hoffer Medal Provocateur Award.
Team 40s: Danielle Moodie is an Advisor for LGBT Policy & Racial Justice at the Center for American Progress, and Director of Education Advocacy at the National Wildlife Federation.
Team 50s: Peternelle van Arsdale is the author of two young adult novels, The Beast Is an Animal, and The Cold Is in Her Bones. Peternelle's essays have been published by LitHub, Hypable.com, and Culturefly, and her short fiction has been published by The Whitefish Review.
Team 60s: Lizz Winstead is the co-creator and former head writer of The Daily Show, and co-founder of Air America Radio. Known as one of the top political satirists in America, Winstead was Entertainment Weekly’s 100 Most Creative People. Her first book, Lizz Free Or Die: Essays, was released in 2012.
Team 70s: Laura Simms is an award-winning performer, writer, and educator. She performs worldwide combining ancient myth and true life stories. She is the Artistic Director of the Hans Christian Andersen Storytelling Center in NY and the founder of The Center for Engaged Storytelling.
