Team 20s: Glynn Pogue is a writer from Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. Her work centers around her community of brownstones and brown people. Named one of Brooklyn Magazine’s 30 under 30, Glynn’s writing has been featured in Vogue, Guernica, Essence, National Geographic Traveler, and others. She regularly sounds off on her own podcast, Black Girls Texting.
Team 30s: Sunita Mani is an actress, dancer, and comedian. She's featured in Don't Think Twice, Mr. Robot, and G.L.O.W., and guest starred on Broad City, Search Party, and The Good Place. Sunita starred in the viral music video "Turn Down for What" and is part of the Cocoon Central Dance Team.
Team 40s: Meridith C. Grundei is an actor, director, educator, and producer. She is currently in the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society 20/21 Observership class and is a regional coordinator for the StateraArts mentorship program and founder of the NYC chapter. She runs her business, Meridith Grundei Coaching.
Team 50s: Helen Little can be heard on iHeartRadio’s 106.7 Lite-FM in NYC. She hosts The Public Library Podcast on iHeartRadio and iTunes. A speaker, success coach, and award-winning poet, Helen has written her first novel with hopes for finding a publisher soon.
Team 60s: Meredith Maran has published a novel and a dozen nonfiction books, including The New Old Me and Why We Write. She’s written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Rumpus, and more. A keynote speaker, Meredith has also been Writer in Residence at UCLA.
Team 70s: Nancy Schuler changed careers at 60 after 30 years as a personal trainer and trompe l’oeil artist, to playwriting, acting, modeling, and dancing. She has performed her short plays at the New York Public Library and her photo exhibit of “Mothers from Around the World” was exhibited at Five Points Gallery in CT.
