It’s finally Spring! In this month of new beginnings, we present stories on the theme “Spring Cleaning: What I Kicked to the Curb”. Join us for an inspirational night of feel-good stories that celebrate growth, change, and renewal. Expect our usual blend of wit and wisdom from New Yorkers of note. We all have something—or someone—we need to kick to the curb: don’t miss our April show for a night of spring cleaning!
Team 20s: Julie Magruder is a Webby Award-winning podcast producer who found her love for storytelling at thirteen. She currently makes nonfiction and fiction podcasts for Wondery. Before that, she launched several weekly and limited-series for Lifetime and The HISTORY Channel.
Team 30s: Allison Kelley is a Brooklyn-based humor writer and essayist. Her first book, Jokes to Offend Men, is out now.
Team 40s: Tamar Vezirian is a writer, and the owner/founder of Gotham Glow.
Team 50s: Max Sharam is a work-in-progress, a moving target and a person who loves to write lists and tick boxes. Some already checked boxes are; hit record, world tours and dog love. She is contemplating her one-woman show while chipping away at a graphic memoir. Max likes people who cook.
Team 60s: Nina Kennedy is a world-renowned concert pianist, orchestral conductor, and award-winning author and filmmaker. She holds a master's degree from Juilliard, and is the host of The Noshing with Nina Show. Kennedy is the author of Practicing for Love: A Memoir, a Lambda Literary Award Finalist.
Team 70s: Madelaine Santner is 73 years old and lives in Brooklyn. She is a retired social worker who enjoys traveling, reading novels and walking all around the city .
