Team 20: Taylor Shaw is an innovative creator, producer, writer, and on camera personality whose vision is changing the media landscape. She’s the founder of the world’s first and only Black Girl Animators Collective. She has 12 television and film properties in various stages of development and is respected as a personal guide to self-improvement.
Team 30: Raeshem Nijhon is an award-winning filmmaker, activist, and founder of the progressive branding company Fictionless. She is passionate about making films, television, and everything in between, coupled with social movements that spark thought, laughter and action.
Team 40: Pat Brown is a New York based comedian that can be seen on CBS’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Fuse’s Uproarious, Axis’ Gotham Live, NBC’s Comic’s Unleashed and BET’s ComicView.
Team 50: Laurie Albanese is the author of two novels and a memoir: Stolen Beauty, Blue Suburbia, and Lynelle by the Sea. She also is the co-author of the novel The Miracles of Prato.
Team 60: Sally Koslow, essayist and journalist, is the author of five novels and one non-fiction book published in 12 languages. Her next novel, Another Side of Paradise, telling the love story of Scott Fitzgerald and Sheilah Graham, appears in May. Formerly, she was the editor-in-chief of mass market magazines, including McCall’s.
Team 80: Hilma Wolitzer’s novels include An Available Man, The Doctor’s Daughter, and Hearts. She has taught in the writing programs at Columbia University, The University of Iowa, and New York University.
