We are hiring an Assistant Producer.

You are tech-savvy, organized, and have flawless attention to detail. You will be responsible for updating our website (hint: you’re on it) and Instagram. You have experience working in Squarespace, Canva, Mailchimp, and Insta. You have 2+ years in copywriting. You do not need to be in NYC, but if you are, you’re invited to attend the show (not mandatory).

We are offering a flat fee per show of $120. Our show is monthly (but occasionally we skip slow months, ie December). The fee is calculated from your responsibilities taking six hours max over the course of a month, at $20 per hour.

Show elements

  • Write short paragraph on theme for sales page

  • Light edit of 50-word talent bios.

  • Create headshot and flyer collage in Canva (templates created).

Website

  • When cast is confirmed: Update Next Show page with confirmed bios and headshot collage.

  • Immediately after show: Update Homepage with new show dates, ticket buy links, theme details for next show (provided).

  • Update Next Show details with show dates, ticket buy links, placeholder image relevant to theme before collage is created. Create blog post for past show details.

  • Update Gallery with approx. 20 - 25 selects that you make of the photographs from the live show.

Social media

  • Announce theme and cast on Generation Women Instagram. One post per week.

  • Day after show, update Linktree + Insta bio with new show links/dates.

Marketing newsletters

  • Monthly newsletter announcing next show (sent day after show)

  • Monthly newsletter announcing cast line-up/other news (sent approx two weeks prior to show)

  • Day-of-show newsletter if needed (based on ticket sales)

Social media kit

  • Update and send social media kit to performers if needed (based on ticket sales.)

Misc

  • Occasional extra social media/newsletter support of additional projects (ie writers’ retreat application deadline closing)
