Six storytellers.
Six generations.

Generation Women® creates space for intergenerational connection and community.

At our monthly live show, six storytellers of note share an original, true story on a theme. Of those performers, one is in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+. Our diverse line-ups will make you laugh, cry, and reflect on the cycle of life. Generation Women is an intimate literary salon that brings together people of all ages. Hosted/created by Georgia Clark.

Theme: New Starts: Stories of Being a Beginner

There’s something magical about a fresh start. This September, Generation Women returns to Joe’s Pub with “New Starts: Stories of Being a Beginner.” Our signature multigenerational lineup—featuring women and nonbinary performers in their 20s through 70s+—will take the stage to share true, unforgettable tales of first tries, failed attempts, and fresh starts.

From hilarious mishaps to inspiring reinventions, these stories celebrate the bravery and growth that come from starting over. Whether you’re contemplating your next big move or just love a night of moving, relatable storytelling, this evening is for you.
Join us at Joe’s Pub (or tune in via livestream!) for a feel-good show that proves it’s never too late to try something new.
